Pablo Más Ramón was born in 1991 in Buñol (Spain) where he received his first musical education in euphonium at Escuela de Música Manuel Carrascosa.

In 2010, he finished the Intermediate Degree in Euphonium with first class honours and achieving the grade prize at the Conservatorio Profesional San Rafael de Buñol.

 

During this time, Pablo has taken master classes with Roger Bobo (Tuba tutor at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music), Thomas Rüedi (Tuba tutor at Bern University of Arts), Canadian Brass, Brian Bowman (Tuba tutor at University of Texas), Steven Mead (International soloist and tutor at Royal Northern College of Music), Oystein Baadsvik (International soloist), Demondrae Thurman (International soloist and tutor at University of Alabama), Miguel Vallés (Solo tubaist of Banda Municipal de Valencia).

 

Since 2011, Pablo is active student at Academia de Tuba-Bombardino Miraphone, taking classes with Vicente López (Tutor at Conservatorio Superior de Música de Murcia and founding member of Spanish Brass), and Sergio Finca (Spanish Brass Luur Metals).

 

In 2012, he was finalist at XVI National Young Performers Competition “Ciutat de Xativa”. In addition, he won first prize, the Honourable Mention with maximum points at Second National Tuba Competition “Vila Joiosa” in 2011.

Pablo was recently awarded an Euphonium-recital tour all over the country for winning the Second prize in brasswind category at Concurso Permanente de Juventudes Musicales de España in Barcelona (Spain) in 2013.

 

His passion for Symphonic Bands has led it to perform as Euphonium soloist accompanied by the Brass Band of Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia in Belfort (France), and the Symphonic Band of Conservatorio Profesional San Rafael de Buñol. He has given recitals as Euphonium soloist accompanied by the Symphonic Band of Centro Instructivo Musical La Armónica de Buñol playing Czardas by Vittorio Monti, Symphonic Variants for Euhponium and Band by James Curnow, and Pantomime by Philip Sparke.

 

The performers' efforts has led him to play under the conductors’ baton of Glenn Price, Frank de Vuyst, Ricardo Casero, Robert W. Smith, Jan van der Roost o Manuel Galduf.

 

At present, he is studying in his 4 year at Conservatorio Superior de Musica Joaquín Rodrigo de Valencia and member of one of the best amateurs symphonic bands all over the World: Centro Instructivo Musical La Armónica de Buñol.
