Adrián Miralles Alonso was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1991. He received his first musical education in euphonium at Sociedad musical “La Artística Manisense” de Manises (Spain).
In 2009, he finished the Intermediate Degree in Euphonium at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Valencia.
During this time, Adrián has taken master classes with Vicente López (Tuba tutor at Conservatorio Superior de Música de Murcia), Soichiro Hokazono (International Soloist and Euphonium soloist of Air Force band of Japan), Pep Burguera (Euphonium soloist at Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Mallorca), Alberto Pons (Euphonium soloist at Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Madrid), Juan José Munera (Euphonium soloist at Banda Municipal de Bilbao), Patrick Harrilds (Tuba Soloist of London Symphony Orchestra), Thomas Rüedi (Tuba tutor at Bern University of Arts), Brian Bowman (Tuba tutor at University of Texas), Steven Mead (International soloist and tutor at Royal Northern College of Music), Oystein Baadsvik (International soloist).
Adrián has received several national awards: First Prizes at Tuba Competition “Ciutat de Altea”, and Second Prize at Youth Performer Competition in Castellnovo (Spain).
As a Euphonium soloist has given concerts accompanied by the Banda Sinfónica l’Artística Manisense, playing Symphonic Variants for Euhponium and Band by James Curnow in 2011, and Symphonic Band of Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castellón, playing Pantomime by Philip Sparke in 2013.
For their remarkable contributions skills, Adrian has collaborated on the recording of Don Carlo with the Internal Band of Orquestra del Palau de les Arts. Has participated with Orquesta de la Universidad de Valencia and Banda Municipal de Bilbao. Furthermore, he has played under the conductors’ baton of Johann de Meij, Lorin Maazel.
At present, he is studying in his 4 year at Conservatorio Superior de Musica Salvador Seguí de Castellón and member of Symphonic Band l’Artística Manisense.
